As the Maison de l’Image et du Signe (MISS) in Sevran was being announced, a future cultural center focused on digital experimentations, we were tasked with creating a communication tool that would connect digital-savvy users with local residents in physical urban spaces.
Format : Web & installation
Collaboration : Millie Servant, Athitaya Hennard, Clara Bofill
Client : Ville de Sevran / Future Maison de l’Image et du Signe
Role : Concept, design, development
Tech stack : Twitter REST API, HTML5/CSS3, jQuery, BigVideo.JS, Smint
I designed and developed a lightweight, mobile projection system called the “tweet-box” to display live Twitter feeds across various locations in the city. A fully custom interface was built using Twitter’s REST API and modern frontend technologies to create a responsive tweet wall. This was supported by a video teaser, a single-page timeline website, and a coordinated presence on social media to encourage participation.
The device acted as both a digital relay and a tangible presence in the city, creating a playful bridge between online expression and local engagement.
