As part of the innovation department in R&D at We Are Social Paris, JupitAR was conceived as an AR experiment to demonstrate the agency’s ability to blend physical design and emerging technologies. The sign of a capability to innovate needed to be tangible both internally and for client demonstration.
An augmented reality poster was created—an interactive piece where a still image came to life when viewed through a mobile device. The concept was briefed to a Unity developer and a game artist, who brought the visuals to motion. The AR prototype showcased how a static printed poster could become a dynamic, digital experience.
JupitAR served as a working prototype that helped communicate We Are Social’s technical and creative knowledge. It became a tangible illustration of how AR could be integrated with traditional media for storytelling and brand activation.
